Abstract

We describe a basic framework for computer-aided engineering of polished ceramic surface layers. This framework is based on two computational models, a mathematical model, and various algorithms for steady-state and non-steady-state thermoelasticity, an automated thermal stability calculation system and methodology for calculating horizontal and vertical motion, temperature, stress, and stress intensity using the test-point method.
