Abstract

When explaining behavior in public good games, economic as well as psychological theories appoint a central role to the beliefs people have with respect to the behavior of others and to the attitudes people have with respect to the payoffs of others. Economists and social psychologists usually pursue different approaches to account for beliefs and attitudes in public good experiments.
