Abstract

Knee dislocation refers to the disorder of the articulation of the tibia and the femur, which is a spatial concept and time-sensitive (has been or is in the state of dislocation). The anatomical structure disorder caused by dislocation of knee is far more than ligament injury. Therefore, compared with multiple ligament injuries, the appellation of knee dislocation may better reflect the severity of the condition. This term is appropriate when a dislocation of the knee is occurring, or the reduction has failed.
