Abstract

Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle has the advantages of low carbon environmental protection, long running time and abundant fuel, and is a major development direction of new energy vehicles. As high speed permanent magnet synchronous motor is widely used in hydrogen fuel cell air compressor, its working efficiency and dynamic performance requirements are becoming higher and higher. In order to solve the problems of high harmonic loss, poor mechanical performance and low efficiency of permanent magnet synchronous motor, based on the parameter requirements of permanent magnet synchronous motor performance, this paper uses finite element software to carry out parametric design of motor body structure. The performance parameters and electromagnetic field parameters of PMSM are compared and analyzed by finite element software with different air gap length values. The simulation results show that the selection of air gap length is very important to the performance of the motor, reasonable selection of air gap length can not only reduce the harmonic loss and stray loss of the motor, but also effectively improve the power factor and efficiency of the motor, so that the motor runs more smoothly.
