Abstract

Electrode regulator system is a key link in electric arc furnace smelted ore metal, its improved control solution for it will effectively reduce the consumption of energy and physical electrode. Self-adjusting fuzzy controller which is two-closed-loop electrode-lift regulating system for ore smelting electric arc furnace has been innovated in this thesis focusing that electric arc furnace being a nonlinear system whose parameters vary depending on time and three-phase currents being inter-coupled, moreover desirable result having not been obtained by traditional PID constant current single-closed-loop electrode-lift regulating system when smelting different ore materials. Since this new system is a kind of two-closed -loop system realized by self-fuzzy controller with current feedback and ore parameters forward-feedback, it can automatically adjust the fuzzy controller rule and optimize the control function by regulating quantized factor, proportional factors and two-input variables weighing of fuzzy controller depending on input variables. In addition, the forward-feedback control makes the rising time and adjusting time of the new system less than that of single-closed-loop electrode-lift regulating system. The results of simulating experiments have shown that this new system has better dynamic characteristics and stronger suppression capacity, so the wider application prospect will be expected.
