In the search for ways to increase health care provider screening for intimate partner violence, domestic violence (DV) researchers often pose the question, “What are the barriers to screening?” As demonstrated in the review by Waalen et al.1 and confirmed in the research report by Mauiro et al.2 in this issue, the most frequent answers are: •Lack of effective interventions•Lack of provider education•Lack of time
