Abstract

The article is mainly concerned with the challenges facing Movement for Democratic Change in its quest for democratic governance in post colonial Zimbabwe in the 21 st century. Among these challenges they include ideological, problems of political acceptance, rejection from continental institutions, political violence and security problems among others. Therefore, each challenge is analysed with the sole intention of exposing how this has become a challenge to MDC’s quest for power.
