Abstract

A short review on BaTiO 3 -based solid solutions is presented. The (x – T) phase diagrams are discussed (x is the molar concentration of the second end-member of a solid solution). Two specific points in the phase diagrams of many solid solutions are determined. These points are points of the convergence of three phase transition lines at x mph and points of the transformation of the normal ferroelectric states into the relaxor ferroelectric states at x F − R . Examples of experimental dependences and a table with parameters of solid solutions are presented.
