AbstractHealth (MIC: SIC: 3841 NAIC: 339112)C. R. Bard designs, produces, packages, distributes and sells medical, surgical, diagnostic and patient care devices. In general, Co.'s products are intended to be used once and then discarded or implanted either temporarily or permanently. Co. provides four key product group categories: vascular, urology, oncology and surgical specialties. Co. also has a product group of other products. These products are distributed domestically directly to hospitals and other healthcare institutions as well as via hospital/surgical supply and other medical specialty distributors with whom Co. has distribution agreements. Internationally, Co.'s products are distributed either directly or via distributors.
