Abstract

There is little personal bankruptcy research conducted in Australia and it is interesting to consider why this might be the case. Certainly the law is well developed as are the institutions that implement and support it. Yet bankruptcy papers remain a poor cousin when compared with the far more populated research around corporate external administration.
