Abstract

The purpose of the work is to conduct a comparison analysis between a rectangular patch antenna and a novel MPA using a parasitic patch at a range of 2.5 GHz frequency for WIMAX applications. Materials and Methods: Two groups—the Novel Micro strip parasitic patch antenna and the rectangular patch antenna—are taken into consideration for the comparison analysis. Twenty samples in all are used. The samples' pretest power is 80%. Results: The parasitic patch MPA has a 250 MHz bandwidth, which is significantly higher than the 10 rectangular patch antenna 0 MHz bandwidth of the rectangular patch. This is indicated by the statistical significance value of 0.048 (p 0.05). Conclusion: In terms of bandwidth, the microstrip parasitic patch antenna outperforms the RPA greatly.
