AbstractRubber Products (MIC: 11.6 SIC: 3011 NAIC:326211)Bandag is engaged in the manufacture of pre‐cured tread rubber, equipment, and supplies primarily for the re‐treading of truck and bus tires by a patented cold‐bonding reaction process. Co. also does some custom processing of rubber compounds. As of Dec 31 2003, revenues were generated by more than 1,000 franchised dealers in the U.S. and abroad who are licensed to produce and market cold process retreads utilizing the Bandag process. Co.'s wholly‐owned subsidiary, Tire Management Solutions, Inc., provides tire management systems outsourcing for commercial truck fleets. Tire Distribution Systems, Inc., also a wholly‐owned subsidiary, sells and services new and retread tires.
