Abstract

The sol-gel auto-combustion approach was used to create a binary combination of Strontium aluminum chromium M−type hexaferrites at the iron site. The hexagonal phase and normal composition of prepared substances were confirmed through X-ray diffraction technique(XRD) and FT-IR spectroscopy. The structural investigation was evaluated using XRD, which determined crystalline size, lattice constants, miller indices, and cell volume. The production of hexaferrite is confirmed by FTIR measurement in all samples. The existence of metal-oxygen bonds on tetrahedral sites and also on octahedral confirms that all prepared samples exhibit M−type hexagonal ferrites. SEM study reveals the morphology of all prepared samples which gives the defined shape and boundary. The UV and Energy gap of all prepared samples were measured to analyze their absorption.
