Abstract

In this research, polymer structure is used to realize MUX/DEMUX application via photonic bandgap analysis. The bandgap analysis of proposed structure is carried out at wavelength 1310 and 1550nm by employing plane wave expansion technique. Simulation result reveals that lattice spacing and thickness of odd and even layer of photonic structure controls the bandgap, which leads to allow or disallow the desired wavelengths.
