Abstract

The role for balloon aortic valvuloplasty (BAV) as a standalone procedure for aortic stenosis (AS) has declined as access to transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) increases. We assessed the indications, demographics and outcomes of patients undergoing BAV in a tertiary hospital without TAVI.
