Abstract

Biochemical and morphological studies of microorganisms cannot be carried out without preliminary disintegration of the latter. Disintegration methods are a prerequisite stage of biotechnological processes (preparation of proteins, biopolymers, organelles). This article presents the main results on the disintegration of some microorganisms in a laboratory ballistic disintegrator of a new type ML-1 (laboratory mill) developed by the Special Design Bureau for Biological Instrumentation of the USSR Academy of Sciences
