Abstract
Nowdays, there are many rotors which experience mass changes during their operation. Such a change of mass causes unbalance. The unbalanced causes vibrations. These vibrations must be balanced. In this paper a method is given for balancing a flexible rotor with variable mass by use of a method for balancing a flexible rotor with constant mass. The result is a counterweight whose static mass moment varies with time.
