Abstract

The contribution of Agustín Espinosa as a leading promoter and creator of avant-garde literature in our islands is unquestionable. His role as a crucial representative of this period of our literary culture found wide resonance in other writers who, thanks to their literary work, give solidity to a unique moment of creative freedom in the environment of our islands. This article seeks to illustrate this relevance by giving due prominence to other lesser-known authors who belong to this remarkable period.
