Abstract
ABSTRACT In this paper Bagnold's sediment transport equation is checked for its prediction of bed-load, suspended load and total load transport rates using a large volume of laboratory and field data. The equation is then modified to increase the accuracy of prediction of sediment transported as bed-load, suspended load and total load.
