Abstract

In this paper, the backscattering scattering from breaking wave (LONGTANK breaking wave model) with rough sea surface is analyzed with the method of moments (MoM). At small incident angles, the rough sea surface can weaken the effect of specular reflection of the breaking wave model, and the scattering characteristics has no big difference at large incident angles. The results show that the LONGTANK breaking wave model with rough sea surface should be a more reasonable breaking wave model under the condition of actual random ocean environment.
