Abstract

This paper explains what a Farm Improvement Club (FIC) is and briefly backgrounds the Wairarapa FIC (Wai FIC). Key components to its successful operation are outlined together with a review of the establishment of the FIC and district database. Two tables are presented that indicate the method by which key physical and financial indices can be used. The first report is for an individual client which compares figures with the club and property class average. The second is a summary of results by farm category.
