Abstract

Metal‐organic compounds, including molecular complexes and coordination polymers, are attractive electrode materials in supercapacitors. Those from the first transition metal series are the most studied due to their rich covalent states, light atom weight, environmental‐friendliness, non‐toxicity and low cost. Wong and co‐workers summarize the supercapacitor performance of these compounds in terms of the types of metal elements and multidentate ligands. image
