Abstract
Back Cover: The image on the back cover represents a shadowgraphy image of poly‐(vinyl nitrate) doped with carbon nanoparticles upon irradiation with 1 064 nm. The image was recorded 2 µs after the laser pulse. A clear almost hemispherical shockwave is visible. Also solid particles that are ejected in a narrow angle from the surface can be observed. The particle front travels at a constant speed and has overtaken the shockwave, which is slowed down during the expansion. Further details can be found in the Review by T. Lippert on page 525.
