Abstract

Back Cover: A bright‐field electron micrograph and its corresponding electron diffraction pattern of recrystallized Cr‐coated (or carbon‐coated) high density polyethylene single crystals, with a heat‐treated temperature as high as 200 °C, indicate that the particle‐coated single crystals can retain their crystal structure after complete melting and subsequent recrystallization. This phenomenon is attributed to a surface fixing effect of vacuum‐evaporated particles on the single crystals. Further details can be found in the Communication by K. Lü and D. Yang on page 1159.
