Abstract

Mol. Nutr. Food Res. 2023, 67, 202200385 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202200385 Obesity is one of the most common and chronic disease, worsening health conditions. Bifidobacterium lactis IDCC 4301 is a probiotic strain previously isolated from infant feces, having anti-inflammatory properties and lowering GI-symptoms. Here, the anti-obesity effects of IDCC 4301 have been proved by disclosing mode of actions of the strain with suggestions of a possible target compound against obesity. This is reported by Jungwoo Yang, Young Hoon Jung, and co-workers in article number 2200385.
