Abstract

Mol. Nutr. Food Res. 2022, 66, 2200447 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202200447 Adlay Polyphenol (AP), an effective component extracted from Coix lacryma-jobi L., significantly decreased the lipid accumulation in the liver to improve non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). AP is also involved in the regulation of lipid metabolism by increasing beneficial gut microbiota and inhibiting harmful intestinal flora. This is reported by Xiaoyin Chen, Li Deng and co-workers in article number 2200447.
