Abstract

Catheter stability is crucial to the creation of durable lesions with radiofrequency (RF) energy in atrial fibrillation ablation (AFA). High frequency JET ventilation can improve catheter stability but it has limitations. High frequency low tidal volume (HFLV) ventilation may be a simpler alternative while still providing benefits.
