Abstract

We present a detailed description of semileptonic decays of baryonsΛ 0 →Λ + and∑ + →∑ ++ in the framework of the quark confinement model, which is a relativistic quark model based on definite asumptions about hadronization and confinement of light quarks. Weak form factors, decay rates and differential distributions of semileptonic decaysΛ 0 →Λ + and∑ + →∑ ++ are calculated. The heavy quark limitm Q →∞ (Isgur-Wise symmetry) is also examined.
