Abstract
Patients with CIED infection and large vegetations (>2.5cm) are often referred for surgical extraction due to embolization risk with transvenous lead extraction (TLE). Vegetation debulking using the Penumbra IndigoTM aspiration system may help facilitate safe TLE in these patients. System advantages include multiple catheter sizes, 1:1 torque transfer, and automatic valve control to reduce blood loss.
