Abstract
This article is dedicated to assessment of the development opportunities of the non-oil sector in Azerbaijan. The importance of the development of the non-oil sector in the national economy has been identified, and the recent changing situation and prospects of the non-oil sector have been studied. The state's care for the non-oil sector and the measures taken to develop this sector were studied. Moreover, the growth dynamics of the share of the non-oil sector in the national economy was analyzed.
