Abstract

Determination the azimuth of borehole strain is very significant, and it is hard or impossible to determine the azimuth of borehole strain by azimuth measuring apparatus under the condition that the borehole strain meter is firmly fixed in the deep well. However, based on the characteristic that solid tide’s theoretic value could be calculated, generally considered observation data and its major influence factors, and used extended Nakai solid tide fitting model, adopted solid tide strain model’s theoretic value, we proceeded effective simulation, with the Borehole strain observation data of Gubeikou station and the nonlinear particle swarm optimization method, we obtained the apparatus’s azimuth angle of the station, then, the inversion model real test with the other time observation data and the obtained optimizing solution was done, the result shows well and some problems in it were discussed.
