Abstract

Digitalization processes, which are rapidly developing, have a significant impact on all sectors of the economy. The aim of the paper is to explore the influence of the digital economy on an increasing number of female entrepreneurs and analyze this unit in the case of Uzbekistan to understand how the digital economy supports female business owners in the current country. Regarding that, Pearson correlation analysis was conducted in order to analyze the relationship between selected indicators and women's entrepreneurship. According to the findings, three top-related variables were chosen to compare Uzbekistan's digitalization to global trends. In the case of this country, it was revealed that the weakest developed element of digitalization was international internet bandwidth, which had the strongest and most positive association with female entrepreneurship in the world.
