Abstract
In the present paper the axisymmetrical thermoelastic problem for nonhomogeneous half-space which surface is heated in circular area is considered. The half-space is composed of homogeneous body and coating which mechanical and thermal properties depend on the distance to the surface by the exponential function. The analytical solution of the problem in continuous dependences of the mechanical and thermal properties is compared with the solution of the problem in which the inhomogeneous layer is modelled by the package of homogeneous layers.
