Abstract

In this paper is presented an analysis of axisymmetric vibration of multilayered conical shell with core layers of viscoelastic material. An approximate solution via the Galerkin method is obtained. The effect of slant length and the shear parameter on the frequencies and associated system loss factors of multilayered conical shells are investigated for three boundary conditions: simply supported at both ends, clamped-clamped and free-free.
