Axiological standpoint of workplace ethics and spirituality

Abstract

In recent periods attitude of management towards workforce is changed from cost considerations to resource consideration. Expectation of professionalism definitely gets a boost by inculcating ethics and spirituality at workplace. A healthy combination of spirituality and ethics at workplace so as to enable people to have a healthy relationship, workflow and growth is recommended in order to tackle several human as well as organizational problems. In the process, the influence of intervening factors such as corporate policies, business environmental forces and the involvement of human elements can never be ignored for healthy workplace ethics and spirituality. This conceptual framework gives an axial standpoint into ways to manage ethics and dealing with spirituality at workplace. This article takes a bird's eye view on the literature of ethics and spirituality at workplace, that furnishes thoughts not only to conduct the research in the relevant field but also as an intuitive for academicians, practitioners as well as the students.
