Abstract

In cell-based therapies for vitiligo, a shave biopsy or extracted hair follicles are incubated at 37°C (98.6°F) with trypsin-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid solution in an incubator, teased to separate cells, and centrifuged to obtain a pellet, which is then resuspended in a small amount of Ringer lactate and transplanted onto a dermabraded vitiligo patch.1
