Abstract
The problem of the propagation of progressive waves in a tube made of a linearly viscoelastic material which encloses a viscous Newtonian liquid is examined. For numerical calculations, it is proposed that the behavior of the tube wall material be described by the Voigt model. Dispersion curves are constructed for this case.
