Abstract
Abstract A novel complex, Ni3(dpa)4[Ag(CN)2]2 (1), was synthesized and structurally characterized. The first example of metal string complex with axial metallic ligand shows length of 20.5 Å. Axial [Ag(CN)2]− ligands still remain two vacant sites, which potential possibly form longer string complex.
