Abstract

AbstractA method is developed for the treatment of data obtained from flow systems whose performance is unsteady and periodic. Experimental results from a study of axial dispersion in pulsating turbulent flow in an open, round pipe are presented; they show that pulsations can greatly increase axial mixing.
