Abstract

The study intended to gauge the awareness, readiness, and initiatives of administrators, faculty, and non-academic personnel of Bulacan State University towards achieving a green education. The study made use of mixed methods research. The sampling method employed in the study is probability sampling method. Data were collected through document analysis and survey questionnaires. The data aggregated were statistically treated using frequency, percentage, weighted mean, and t-test. Findings of the study revealed that there is significant difference both on the level of awareness and level of readiness while there is no significant difference on the level of initiatives on the perspectives of the respondents from the college of industrial technology and other colleges and satellite campuses. Recommendations of the study includes the modification of greener curricula, transformation of greener academic programs, creation of greener university policies, designing greener strategic plans, conduct greener research, carry out greener community engagement, perform greener production, and deliver greener instruction towards achieving a green education.
