Abstract

Our society is an information society in which information and communication technology (ICT) is coming closer and closer to people who are not experts in information and communication technology, but on the base of general education they are daily using it. By using global communication systems the borders are not anymore important and people are changing continents, countries, regions, cultures and languages. This change demands that the products including learning tools and/or learning modules are developed to support needs of users in different countries, different language groups, as well as cultural groups. From that reason developers and producers have to be aware of the intercultural dialogue in the information society and global communication systems. To get the best results, they (developers and producers) have to get the knowledge already during the education process and according to different mobility programs they should be faced with the cross cultural communication also through own experiences (teachers' mobility, students mobility, mobility of people in general). Presented paper will base on the intercultural dialogue, culture itself and cultural awareness. In the main part of the paper we will present some experiences with integrating intercultural dialogue into curriculum (e-learning supported) in all three levels of education. We will conclude with the ELLEIEC project, where presented topics and described experiences together with other mentioned topics will meet each other in the electronic way.
