Abstract
The article deals with the discussion questions of the peculiarities of sentencing in the form of deprivation of a special, military rank, grade, degree or qualification class. The author researches the reasons of imposition of mentioned punishment, specialities of its imposition with some basic punishments and considers the possibility of extending of imposition of mentioned punishment for the crime of any severity regardless of whether the person was deprived of appropriate rank, grade, degree or qualification class in administrative or disciplinary order.
