Abstract

Out-of-hospital emergency ventilation and tracheal intubation are one of the more difficult tasks in emergency medicine. The success rate of advanced out-of-hospital airway management, depends mainly on three components: first, the individual patient's anatomy, second, the specific emergency setting, and third, the experience, skills and knowledge of the advanced airway management health care provider. 1 von Goedecke A.
