Abstract
Adult Video News (AVN) is the name of an American trade journal that focuses on the adult video industry. AVN also sponsors an annual convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with an award show for the adult industry modeled after the Oscars ceremony. The magazine rates adult films, at times over 500 reviews per issue, as well as other news developments in the industry. The magazine, like other trade magazine, features mainly ads for various films and magazines targeted at adult video retailers. AVN also sponsors the Adult Entertainment Expo, an annual adult entertainment convention in Las Vegas.
