Abstract
Avian Influenza Risk Communication, Thailand
Highlights
High initial drug resistance in pulmonary tuberculosis in Ghana
The pattern of the villagers’ risk perception was interesting. They were very aware of the risk backyard chickens present in the mid-northern area of Thailand, where many highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) infected poultry have been reported, but they thought it would not happen to their chickens
The Thai Ministry of Public Health is conducting a national public awareness campaign to stop the spread of HPAI
