Abstract

The averaged rotations and other mechanical parameters at finite plane strains of an elastic material, which are characterized by a linear relation between the Cauchy stresses and the Almansi strains, are studied. The form of the elastic potential is determined. The displacement problem is reduced to a boundary-value problem for complex potentials, which is solved in terms of Cauchy-type integrals for the specified boundarys displacements. The results obtained are compared with the linear solution.
