In this study we propose to recognize if the lithic context, analysed integrally and from a perspective specifically technological, permits us to arrive to conclusions respect to the degrees of social integration between a series of settlements along the valley of the Maipo river. Our preliminary results have allowed us to postulate that the lithic context of these sites result much more diversity what were supposing previously, indicating us that only in the sites studied in the mountains could present certain degree of similarities that could be interpreted as social integration.
