Abstract

Tim Cheung is the proprietor and General Manager of the AVA Advertising Agency. His family live in Hong Kong but he went to college in England and stayed to gain experience in a large London advertising agency. That was about ten years ago but having had experience in the business he decided to set up his own agency, following the death of his father who left him a substantial inheritance. The AVA Advertising Agency is quite small and the total staff involved number 25, over half of whom are in their early twenties and comparatively inexperienced. At the present time the executive staff are all working in a rather overcrowded office over shops, in the centre of a town in the West London suburbs. The production staff are five miles out of town and operate from a small workshop. However within the next three months both the executive staff and the production staff will join forces in new premises on the site of a new industrial estate.
