Abstract

SUMMARYVarious difficulties are involved in the accomplishment of a student centered teaching of psychology. No matter that the students personally apply for such student centered teaching they will often ask the teacher to solve their problems. The problem of authority may also be a matter of dispute among the students themselves. The non-loquacious or taciturn majority may often be successfull in silencing the loquacious minority. The dynamics are that the non-loquacious minority by way of wining excites a sense of guilt on the part of the more loquacious minority. In the case of a student centered teaching it is the teacher's task, inter alia, to frustrate the students' attempts at stabbing in the back their own ideology of independence.
