Abstract
Song Festivals are one of the outstanding traditions of the Lithuanian nation, which was formed and has been generated by the most active part of our nation, participating in cultural life, and directed by the leaders devoted to the idea of the Song Festival. The leaders activity is important in all stages while organizing the festival: gathering the choirs and the audience, forming the psychological atmosphere of the festival in advance, reflecting and promoting its fundamental values. The most significant features of the leader are the belief in the idea-vision of the festival and the ability to inspire the participants of the festival emotionally. Key words.
